He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karla DuPont; his daughter Bree Sedlak (Scott); his pet Layla; his father John DuPont; his siblings, Doreen Lueders, Kay Lyman (Terry), Jill Allen (Francis) and Johnny DuPont; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Schmidt (Gail), Darrell Schmidt (Loree) and Suzie DuPont; his mother June Elsie DuPont (Anderson); his brothers, Jay Allen DuPont and Alan Chester DuPont; his sister-in-law Tracy DuPont; his grandparents, Chester, Hazel DuPont, Walter and Elsie Anderson; and his parents-in-law, Vernon and Velda Schmidt. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for further designation.
