He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhardt Hultstrand and Viola Hultstrand (Rosell); his siblings, Norman and Nancy; his niece Pam; and his brothers-in-law, BillKieffer and Duaine Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Lori Applegate (Carl) of Lincoln, NE and David Hultstrand (Pam) of Boiling Springs, SC.; his grandchildren, Hayley Applegate of Durham, NC, Shelby Applegate of Lincoln, NE, Matt Hultstrand (Ashley Affeldt) of Atlanta, GA, Emily Hultstrand (Chris Bartlett) of Warrior, AL and John Hultstrand of Birmingham, AL.; and his siblings, Lois Wood of Alexandria, MN, LaRae Woodworth (Skip) of Parkers Prairie, MN, Pat Dreger (Gary) of Eagle Bend, MN, Cindy Carlson (Lynn) of Alpharetta, GA, Jerry Hultstrand (Bette) of Lancaster, PA and Dennis Hultstrand (Dawn) of Parkers Prairie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Roper & Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Free Church (3280 S 84th St, Lincoln, NE 68506).
