He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lempka and Mary Lempka (Malone); his former wife Arleen (Behrens); his son-in-law Randy Marlatt; his siblings, Patricia (LeRoy Jones), Francis (Jane Lempka) and Gerald (Denise Lempka); his siblings-in-law, Ruth (Robert Steffen), Denver Behrens and David Weber; and his nephew Brian Weber.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Tucker (Tipton); his daughters, Stacy Lempka (Dwight Irwin) and Susan Marlatt; his stepchildren, Dan Tucker (Ranee), Scott Tucker (Nick) and Shari Hansen (Russ); his grandchildren, Chauncey, Eli (America Hernandez), Carson Irwin, Caleb, Tyler Marlatt, Lisa Brown, Jason Tucker (April), Chloe Tucker and Luke Tucker (Amy); his great grandchild Alexandria Brown; and his grandchildren, Aidan, Matthew, Scarlett and William Tucker.
