As we bid Kent farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kent is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bankson and Doris Bankson; and his son Scott Bankson. He is survived by: his wife Sara; his son Allen Bankson (Penne) of Gretna; and his siblings, Doyle Bankson (Rita) of Hastings, Allerita Gerloff (Jim) of Ayr and Karol Bankson of Marquette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fridhem Lutheran Church (315 Park Ln, Hordville, NE 68846-2113).
