He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Winquest Johnson. He is survived by: his brother Ed Johnson (Linda) of St. George, Utah; and his stepsisters, Julie Sand (Roger) of Lincoln, Mary Jane Winquest of Lincoln and Joyce Olsen (Clark) of Bellevue, Washington. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Prairie Home Cemetery (2221 18th Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Open House.
