He was predeceased by: his parents, William Monaghan and Ruth Monaghan (Witt); his wife Carolyn; and his siblings, Bill Monaghan and Jo Kragel.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy; his son-in-law Douglas Obermueller; his son Keith Monaghan; and his grandchildren, Tim Obermueller (Alex), Kristen Veldhouse (Cory), Trevor Obermueller (Alec Kollman), Henry and Theo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
