It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence L Smith of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Smith and Hazel Smith; his wife Florence; his son Mike; and his sister Shirley Dobbs.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Friesell (Dave) of Murdock, NE, Mark Smith (Cheryl) of Beatrice, NE, Matt Smith and Laurie Klosterboer (Bill) of Lincoln, NE; and his brother Charles Smith of Chandler, AZ. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, niece, and nephews.

He asked for memorials to go to the Murdock Volunteer Fire Department or Murdock United Methodist Church.
