He is survived by: his wife Janel Van Gundy; his children, Summer, Bryson and Brianne (Justin); his siblings, Les Monroe (Shawn Lewis) of Lincoln, NE and Leigh Monroe of Lincoln, NE; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Van Gundy (Peggy) of Ballwin, MO and Terry Van Gundy (Lorry) of Auburn, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (3930 S 19th St, Lincoln, NE 68502).
