It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy D. Buethe of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Buethe and Ida Buethe; his stepmother Ruth Buethe; his parents-in-law, Edward and Eleonora Hillers; his grandson Jared Ian Buethe; and his son-in-law Kim Thelen.

He is survived by: his family, Denmark, Germany and Norway; his wife Evelyn Hillers; his children, Terrance (Joyce Buethe) of Gretna, Rodney (Pamela Buethe) of Gretna and Lynette Thelen of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Chris, Kim Buethe, Jaxin, Elijah of Gretna, Patty, Mike Fulton, Noah of Bellevue, Josh, Hannah Buethe, Gavin, Lawson, Swayzie of Gretna, Jason Buethe of Gretna, Kyle, Cassie Thelen, Emmi, Kayla of Lincoln, Allison, Justin Spaulding, Hadley, Sadie and Reed of Kearney; his sister Shirley; his brother-in-law Don Sacks of Lincoln; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Gronewald, Jesse, Austin of Beatrice, David, Tonya Sacks, Justin, Jordan of Lincoln, Shari, Mark Bahensky, Eric, Ryan and Emily of Lincoln.
