It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lila L. Brolhorst of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in DeWitt, Nebraska, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mahloch and Augusta Mahloch (Seitz); her husband Marvin Brolhorst; her son-in-law Gilbert Oltman; her grandson Ryan Brolhorst; and her siblings, Allen Mahloch (Dorothy), Lee Mahloch (Monika), Loretta Bergmeier (Arnold) and Enola Dauber (Otto).

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Oltman of Lincoln, Cheryl Wirth (Stan) of Beatrice, Yvonne Brolhorst of Lincoln, Dennis Brolhorst (Vicki) of Beatrice and Robert Brolhorst of Lincoln; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Brolhorst and Berdina Oltman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Paul's Lutheran School.
