She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Thayer and Maudie Thayer; her husband Leo Nelson; her children, Jimmy Nelson, JoAnn Eigsti (Terry Hinkle), Ricky Nelson, Gerald Nelson (Sherri), Kenneth Nelson and Kaylene Martin (Duane); and her sisters, Ann Hale (Gailund) and Karen Holeman. She was also cherished by 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
