She was predeceased by: her parents, Irven Ferguson and Cleo Ferguson; her former husband Larry Messmer; and her brother Jerry Dale Ferguson. She is survived by: her husband Charles Sutter; and her children, Dawn Brackhan (Steve), Rebecca Howatson (Thomas), Timothy Sutter, Anthony Sutter (Anissa) and Amanda (David). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
