With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd J. Thomsen of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Lloyd is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomsen and Lillian Thomsen (Higgins); and his daughter Deb Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Pat Mobley of Las Vegas, NV; his son-in-law Bruce Palmer of Leavenworth, KS; his grandson Brian Palmer (Ola); his great grandchildren, Jack and Will Palmer; and his brother Don Thomsen (Marsha) of San Diego, CA..
