It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois (Wurst) Nicholson of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Wurst and Elise A. Wurst (Kurzen); and her son Floyd Nicholson. She is survived by: her former husband Eldon F. Nicholson; her children, John Nicholson of Las Vegas, NV, Eldonna Bingham (Bryan) of Lincoln, NE, James Nicholson (Debbie) of Geneva, NE, Mary Jost (Ron) of Wahpeton, ND and Andrew Nicholson of Las Vegas, NV.; her grandchildren, Kris Nicholson (Melynda Shaughnessy) of Las Vegas, NV, Stephine Mitchell of Lincoln, NE, Dustin Mitchell (Jess) of Lincoln, NE, Rachelle Bouwens (Andrew) of Lincoln, NE, Samantha Shue (Zach) of Gretna, NE, Seth Bingham (Vanessa) of Auburn, NE, Nolt Nicholson (Brianna) of Lincoln, NE, Lucas Bingham (Katie) of Gretna, NE, Amanda Jost of Minot, ND, Katie Nicholson of Los Angelas, CA, Olivia Kemp (Micah) of Friend, NE, Carissa Jost of Wahpeton, ND and Dylan Jost (Kendra Kus) of Hankinson, ND.; and her siblings, Marie Carlson of Stromberg, NE and Gordon Wurst (Lillian) of York, NE. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
