He was predeceased by: his parents, Thanh Nguyen and Duong Tran; and his son Hap Nguyen. He is survived by: his wife Thu Le; and his children, Hang Nguyen, Phan Nguyen, Ninh Nguyen, Thien Nguyen, Han Nguyen, Giang Nguyen and Luat Nguyen. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
