She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephanos Zafiris and Sophia Zafiris (Peter T. Collis); her daughter Amalia Kent (Sophia); and her siblings, Irene Logetheti, Kalliope Mitilineo, George, Antonis, Manolis, Francescos and Dimitri Zafiris.

She is survived by: her husband Peter "Tak" Collis; her daughters, D. C. and Sophia Werning (Joseph); her grandchildren, Stephanie Werning (Benjamin Jackson), Joseph Werning Jr. (Camrie), Kally Werning and Peter John Werning; her son-in-law Gary Kent; her grandchildren-in-law, Maria Beers (Michael), Richard Kent (Marianne), Eleni Kent and Joanna Kent; and her great grandchildren, Lennox, Wesley Werning, Liam and Brennan Beers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
