She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold O. Barrett and Helen S. Barrett; her brother William C. Barrett (Elsie); and her son Will (Jim). She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Mary J. Hewitt (Lincoln), John C. Hewitt and Martha (Chris) Livingston (Lincoln); and her pet Mondo. She is also survived by six grandsons, one great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the music programming at First Plymouth Church, or Hastings College for the outdoor sculpture fund established in memory of Marjorie and James Hewitt and Lauren Hewitt.
