With sadness, we share the passing of Marlys G. Reyes of Lincoln, Nebraska. Marlys, born on October 18, 1943, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Howk and Delma Howk (Goble); and her husband Fidencio Reyes (Pete). She is survived by: her son Alan Reyes (Maggie); her grandson Alexander; her sister Kayleen (Meyers); her brother-in-law Charles Meyers; her nephews, Craig, Kevin (Rachell) and Taunya Tamppari (Neil); and her brother-in-law Benito Magaña of San Angelo. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Roper & Sons Midtown Chapel (4300 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel (4300 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
