With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marvin Zimmerman in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ally Zimmerman and Florence Zimmerman (Felderman); his brother Dean Zimmerman; and his brother-in-law Bill Lillie (Jaynes). He is survived by: his wife Lois Helmrichs; his children, Julie Zimmerman Hippen (Jason), Cindy Zimmerman Jaynes (Matthew) and Chad Zimmerman (Rachel); his grandchildren, John, Jacob, Josie Hippen, Grant, Beau Jaynes, Luke, Ivan, Levi, Kathleen, Ella and Jack Zimmerman; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Zimmerman and Judy Lillie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (209 N Quince St, De Witt, NE 68341). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
