With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Stuefer (Lincoln, Nebraska), born in Saint Edward, Nebraska, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Edwards (Rieken) and Herschel Edwards; and her sisters, Joyce Taylor, Darlene Latimer, Glenda Kilburn and Connie Bird.

She is survived by: her husband Dayle Stuefer; her sons, Greg (Kate), Mark (Kim), William (Sandra), Robert (Brenda) and Glen (Jacque); her grandchildren, Bryon, Natalie, Cory, Joshua, Travis, Sheena, Kyle, Jennifer, Samantha, Caleb and Nicholas; and her sisters, Shirley Townley, Sharon Kielian (John) and Trudy Carpenter (Allan). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Memorials to Messiah Lutheran Church or to Breast Cancer research.
