She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Binggeli and Gertrude Binggeli (Smith); her husband Harold Rueger; and her siblings, Carla Svanda and Doyle Binggeli.

She is survived by: her daughter Brandi Thorn (Paul); her grandchildren, Allison of Lincoln and Trey of Lincoln; her brothers, Charles Binggeli (Sherrie) of Lawrence, Pete Binggeli (Boni) of Midland and Ed Hawkins (Seline) of Midland; and her aunts, Colleen Lewis of Topeka and Bonnie Hall of Baldwin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the family for a charitable donation to be made in Mary's memory at a later date.
