In the vast expanse of eternity, may Mary Lucille find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Meehan and Lucille Meehan; and her brothers, Jack Meehan (Beryl), Bob Meehan (Jane) and Charlie Meehan (Jane).
She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia Myers (Phil) and Virginia Reese (Herb). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great & great- great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ Catholic Church (3500 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68506). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 9:50 AM at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ (3500 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68506). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (3880 L St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Madonna Church Foundation, Pink Sisters of Lincoln, NE, School Sisters of Christ the King, or Nebraska Catholic Charities.
