He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Scott and Grace Scott; his siblings, Earl Scott Jr., Ronald Scott and Lily Scott; and his in-laws, Melvin and Lila Bickford.

He is survived by : his niece Gayle Scott; his nephew Jeff Hoffart; his wife Beth Scott; his children, Todd Scott (Julie) of Wahoo, Logan, Riley, Brian Scott of Chestertown, MD, Max Gaspers-Scott and Adam Scott (Paula) of Commerce City, CO; his grandchildren, Aiden and Ruby Scott; his daughter Ashly Scott of Lincoln; his siblings, Larry Scott (Connie) and Elaine Falgione (John); and his sister-in-law Brenda Weekly (Mike).

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
