He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schleicher and Patricia Schleicher; and his wife Jeanette Schleicher. He is survived by: his children, Katie Green (Steven), Brent Schleicher (Kendra) and Andrew Schleicher; his grandchildren, Duane, Henry, Elijah, Isaac, Kamani and Kaniyah; and his sister Sharon Mayfield (Jerry).

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM. A reception will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at 1318 N 66th St, Lincoln, NE 68505.
