He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Ashman and Gladys Ashman (Nightengale); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Badura of Loup City, NE; his sons, David (Betsy), Matthew and Benjamin; and his grandsons, Jacob and Jonas.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Teresa Catholic Church (735 S 36th St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A burial will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (3880 L St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
