She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny McCord and Edythe McCord (Taylor); and her sister Phyllis Weaver. She is survived by: her sons, Jon Backencamp (Tracy) and Mark Backencamp (Ami); her siblings, Gloria Weiss and Dan McCord; her grandchildren, Madison Montgomery (Ryan), Nicholas Backencamp and Mitchel Backencamp; and her great grandchild Clara. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
