She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Gartner and Anne Gartner; and her godson Mark. She is survived by: her husband Curtis; her sons, Matthew T. (Julie) and James L. (Jay); her grandchildren, Nicole, Jason, Aleta and Henry; her sister Betty; her nieces, Heather and Laura; and her godchildren, Linda, Rebecca and Bradley.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sheridan Lutheran Church (6955 Old Cheney Rd, Lincoln, NE 68516).
