Patty Ann Zitek Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patty Ann Zitek of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on November 5, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patty Ann Zitek to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Nantkes and Louis Nantkes; her husband Val Zitek; and her sons, Larry and Rick.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Loudon (John) and Julie Wismer (Doug); and her daughter-in-law Brenda Zitek. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1940 S 77th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A rosary was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1940 S 77th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (3880 L St, Lincoln, NE 68510).

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patty's memory can be made to the Zitek Family We Care Patient Fund. founded by her son Larry Zitek.in association with the April Sampson Cancer Center.
