We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2023, at the age of 69, Paul Almburg of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in DeKalb, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul Almburg to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Almburg and Joyce Almburg (Sanderson); and his sister Susan Powless. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Seth Almburg and Jacob Almburg (Melissa); and his brothers, Gerry, Dave and Dan Almburg.

“Paul was a best friend and mentor to me. He changed the trajectory of my life and career; and we grew to be very close. He welcomed me into his home. He was generous and thoughtful. My friendship with Paul meant the world to me. And I wouldn’t be where I am today had we never met. It’s only with regret that I ponder how time and distance causes people to drift apart and how I could have done better to stay in touch. But that’s life. This was long ago, but Paul has been on my mind every day.”
