He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Horner and Ruth Horner (Stuemky); and his brothers, Roy, John, Robert and Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Amundson; his children, Rhonda Horner-Bohaty, Julie Polster (Charlie), Rich and Greg Horner; and his grandchildren, Noelle Bohaty, Chloe Bohaty, Abigail Pepino (Raphael), Miranda Harris (Jarod), Rachel Horner, Victoria Wagner (Mark), Olivia Johnson and Sophia Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the St Francis of Assi Catholic Church (1145 South St, Lincoln, NE 68502).
