She is survived by: her husband Mike Rasmussen; her sons, Kirk (Katie) of Centennial Colorado and Marc (Janet) of Cambridge; her siblings, Mary Ward of Brisbane, Jane Goin of Morrison and Lance Goin (Cheryl) of Birmingham; and her grandchildren, Emma, Jake Rasmussen of Cambridge, Will and Abby Rasmussen of Centennial, Colorado..
Her nursing career spanned 47 years and was cut short by the Covid epidemic.
In lieu of flowers memorial money will be split between the Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard (https://www.nebraskanursehonorguard.org) and the National Park Foundation.
