In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Peggy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Peggy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Swanson and Mabel Swanson Husband (Gordon Wilke); and her sisters, Phyllis Brock and Betty Swanson. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Hilger (John) of Lincoln, NE, Lori Knego (Seth) of Lincoln, NE, Brad Wilke of Lincoln, NE, Scott Wilke (Lisa) of Lincoln, NE and Mitchell Wilke. She is also survived by Two Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home (2109 14th St, Columbus, NE 68601).
Memorials are suggested to Christ Lincoln Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
