He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Olson Pollard and Nina Mae Goodsen Pollard; and his daughter Karen Kimpel. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pardee; his son Jeffrey Pollard of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren, Nikki Kimpel of Omaha, Nebraska and Noah Kimpel of Riverton, Iowa; his sister-in-law Linda Hass of Bouton, Iowa; his nephews, Matt and Andy Bredesen of Des Moines, Iowa; and his niece Kate Sandy.
He also requested that memorials be made to Aspen Cremation and Burial Services, 4822 Cleveland Ave., Lincoln, NE 68504, payable to Joyce Pardee, for future designation to hunting and fishing programs for underprivileged youth and to his favorite public gardens.
