He was predeceased by: his parents, David O. Wiese, Sr. and Nancy Wiese (Gillin); James W. Olson and Marjorie Olson (Sadle). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Olson; his siblings, Cathy Charko, David O. Wiese, Jr. (Annik Miller) of Minneapolis, Patrick Wiese, Mark Wiese (Mary), Michael Wiese (Lynn), Karen Heibel (Mark), Matthew Wiese (Conna) and John Wiese (Laura); his niece Megan Charko; and his uncle Max Wiese.
