With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Remington Jon Holmes (Lincoln, Nebraska), who passed away on March 26, 2019 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his cousin Tami Janssen; his uncle Doyle Janssen; his grandparents, Neal, Vonese Holmes, Richard and Viola Janssen; and his stepgrandmother Grace Janssen.

He is survived by: his stepmother Charlotte Holmes; his sister Kealey Snyder (Joel); and his sibling's children, Kamryn, Kylan Snyder and Kruz Remington Ray Snyder. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

“I am truly sorry for the loss of Remington it is way to early. I am the Executive Director of the Arc of Lincoln now but many years ago I was a Para in John Gerber's special education class with Pound Middle School and this is where I met Remington and worked with him for the 3 years he attended middle school. We walked many hallways together when Remington got bored with what he was doing. I have enjoyed looking at pictures of Remington and his friends over the past year on Facebook of him participating in activities such as bowling, picnics, etc. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
