He is survived by: his children, Maria Taylor (Randy), Lia Eickhoff, Jason Welter (Tami Connell) and Laura Eisele (David); his daughter-in-law Laurie Egger; his grandchildren, Tifani Scotter, Scott, Adam (Paige), Mathew Pettigrew, Hallie Kratzer (Jon), Alex (Patricia), Duncan Franz, Sara, Natalie, Hanna Taylor, Amy Stertz (Cody), Ben Welter, Maximilian and Xavier Egger; his great grandchildren, Lucas Franz, Rowan, Amora, Linden Taylor, DJ, Zackary Scotter, Lucille Bright, Raelia, Rylun Pettigrew, Maya Welter and Calvin Stertz; and his sister-in-law Lila Egger.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Plymouth Church (2000 D St, Lincoln, NE 68502).
