He was predeceased by: his father Jack Nider. He is survived by: his children, Jason Nider (Dawn), Jamie Egr (Brian) and Jerris Nider (Misty); his grandchildren, Michael, Owen Egr, Korban, Karter and Kenlee Nider; his mother Kathleen Nider; and his sisters, Becky Foster (Randy), Debbie Thomas (Jeff), Karen Border (Chris) and Dawn Jones (Curt). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Rick's memory—just as he lived his life every day.
