We announce the death of Robert L. Burianek (Lincoln, Nebraska), who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 84. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Burianek and Ann Burianek; his former wife Mary Ellen Burianek (Whitaker); his son David Burianek; his brother-in-law Eddie Whitaker; his sister Marjorie; his brother-in-law Marvin Schroeder; his brother Marvin; and his sister-in-law Peggy Burianek.
He is survived by: his wife Teresita Quijano Burianek; his sons, Robin (Lynette Burianek) and Rick Burianek; and his stepchildren, Erik (Via Espejo) and Angela Quijano. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
