He is survived by: his children, Larry Messersmith of Columbus, Patty (Derrick Barr) of Crofton, Pamela Windle (Daniel) of Columbus and Terry Messersmith (Jen) of Lincoln. He is also survived by several siblings and their spouses, nieces and nephews.
