The memory of Roger D. Ryan of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar M. Ryan and Bessie E. Ryan (Maas); his sister Alice June Connolly; and his parents-in-law, Elmer and Elta Meyer.

He is survived by : his wife Ellen Ryan (Meyer); his daughters, Christine Zoroya (Jeff) of Kansas City, MO and Jennifer Eyestone (Peter) of Dallas, TX; his sister Marilyn Blunk of Gladstone, MO; his grandchildren, Nathan Zoroya, Simon Zoroya, Joseph Zoroya, Sydney Eyestone and Julian Eyestone; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Meyer (Jane), Loren Meyer (Linda) and Carol Meyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sheridan Lutheran Church (6955 Old Cheney Rd, Lincoln, NE 68516).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, funding research into a disease that Roger bravely fought for 22 years, or to Sheridan Lutheran Church.
