Schwaninger and Dorothy Mae Cook Schwaninger; his daughters, Bonnie Sue, Jennifer Lynn and Angela Dawn; his sister Joyce Hoffman; his brother-in-law Sam Hoffman of Rancho Cordova; his siblings, Linda Bates of Stella and Rex Schwaninger of Bettendorf; his niece Janelle Schwaninger of Glenwood; his wife Phyllis Schwaninger of Clarinda; his stepsons, Dan, Jim and Jason; his siblings-in-law, Margie Schwaninger of Bettendorf and Max Bates of Stella; and his grandchildren, Trevor Lieberth of Belgrade, Tyler Lieberth of Goodyear, Hannah Lieberth of Mesa, Madeline Whitlatch (D. J.) of Maryville, Dillon Chambers of Clarinda, Jacob Chambers of Clarinda, Keegan Chambers of Clarinda, Alex Chambers of Clarinda, Anna Chambers of Clarinda and Kirsten Davenport of Lincoln. He was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren.
