He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Meyer and Merna Meyer; his parents-in-law, Merle and Betty Tickner; his sister Bobbi Meyer; his siblings-in-law, Gale Furnas and Beverly Dumler; his niece Kris Dumler-Howard; and his nephews, Russell Scott, Adam Furnas and Craig Schoonveld.

He is survived by : his wife Connie (Tickner); his children, Jennifer Fynbu and Kyle Meyer; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alec and Emma Fynbu; his sisters, Sandy Bowen (Randy), Karen Scott (Bob), Angie Meyer and Sherry Furnas (Doug Pope); his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Schoonveld (Tim), David Tickner (Cheryl) and Dean Dumler (Beth); and his nieces and nephews, Randolyn LaFerney, Lisa Broadwater (Eddie), Marsha Nelson (Kyle), Tracy Scott, Erika Kane (Steve), Heather Furnas, Cami Wells (Justin), Todd Scott, Dan Weber (Brandee), Joel Schoonveld (Kathie), Ryan Tickner (Alison) and Kevin Dumler (Cynthie). He is also survived by many great grand nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Memorials will be donated to Lincoln Community Blood Bank and Southern Heights Presbyterian Church.
