With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger F. Pearson (Lincoln, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roger F. left this world on May 17, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Pearson and Odetta Pearson (Thomazin); his wife Velma Nisley; and his brother Howard. He is survived by: his children, Cynde Landrith and Joel Pearson (Jerry); his grandchildren, Zacc Landrith, Nich Landrith (Suzie), Justin Pearson (Erin) and Alex Pearson (Annie); his great grandchildren, Jack, Brody Pearson, Kai Landrith, Gwen and Ruby Pearson; his sister Charlotte Kirkegaard (Rosemary Luebke); and his in-laws, Anton Kirkegaard, Bob, Pearl Hendricks, Arlin, Delores Nisley, Forrest and Carol Nisley.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (5315 S 162nd St, Walton, NE 68461).

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Bennet American Legion Post 280.

“I'm so thankful I was able to be with Roger when Governor Jim Pillen came and presented a recognition award to Roger for his military service. Roger was alert and responsive and was very appreciative of the honor he was given. I will miss Roger as we became good friends in the short 5 years I knew him. Our loss is heavens gain. My prayers for all his family and friends for comfort and for the hope of seeing him again when we meet in heaven.”
