He is survived by: his wife Kay Benson; his daughters, Monica Russell, Shannon Brinkman (Paul) and Shana Festa (Tony); his grandchildren, Devin Schroeder (Jenny), Aidan, Treyson Russell, Justin Brinkman (Madeline), Ashley Brinkman and Jio Festa; his great grandchild Nolan Schroeder; his siblings, Connie Sherlock, Judy Benson, Dennis Benson (Dorcas) and Rick Benson (Samantha); and his brothers-in-law, Roger Young (Bonnie) and Tim Young (Susan).
Burial will take place at the Evergreen Cemetery in Beatrice at 3:00 p.m.
