He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Franson and Velma L. Franson (Perry). He is survived by: his wife Jane Franson (Phelps); his son Cole; his daughter-in-law Shayna Franson of Elkhorn; his grandchildren, Carrie Franson of Lincoln, KayLana, KinLeigh, KataLya Bradley, Jayvon Casteneda and Kovey Franson; and his siblings, Michael Franson of Lincoln, Kenneth Franson of Iowa, Paul Franson of Lincoln and Lorraine Harre (Franson) of Lincoln.

Interment of ashes will be held at 9:45 A.M. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery, 84th and Adams St.
