Ross E. Hecht Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ross E. Hecht of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvah Hecht and Grace Hecht (Kirkwood); his wife Joyce Schneider; and his brothers, Wayne, Dean and Boyd.

He is survived by: his children, Shari Koelzer (James) of Lincoln, NE, Susan Meade (Dale) of Black Hawk, CO and Brian Hecht (Pattie Mace) of Amery, WI; his granddaughter Katharine Cannon (Cole); his great grandchildren, Davyn Meade, Shameus Cannon and Nataleigh Rose Cannon; and his sister-in-law Jeretta Hecht. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the First Plymouth Church or Planned Parenthood.
