It is with sadness that the passing of Ruby Augustine (Lincoln, Nebraska) is shared. Ruby, born on December 12, 1919, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Damrow and Marie Damrow (Kechley); her husband Walter E. Lehmann; her siblings, Rev. Thomas Damrow (Evelyn), Franklin Damrow (Betty) and Esther Chermak; and her brothers-in-law, Alvin Knispel, Charles Chermak, Harlan Overbeck and Harold Epp.
She is survived by: her sons, Warren Lehmann (Mary) of Las Vegas, NV and Bruce Lehmann (Jane) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Tom Lehmann (Judy) of Las Vegas, NV, Greg Lehmann (Cristin Clark) of Mechanicville, NY, Kelli Lehmann of Lincoln, NE and Brian Lehmann of Lincoln; her great grandchild Michael Lehmann of Mechanicville, NY; and her sisters, Kathryn Overbeck of Kalispell, MT and Marjorie Epp of Beatrice. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1551 S 70th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for future designation.
