Ruth Ann Lyness Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Lyness of Lincoln, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John N. Finkle and Elsie M. Finkle (Miller); her husband Phillip E. Lyness; and her son Jeffrey P.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tanner A. Brasch (Jennifer), Justin R. Nutt (Jessie), Jacoba Nutt Behunin (Rob), Devon J. Nutt (Dana Marie), Dallas Nutt, Levi Nutt (Brittany), Dylan A. Lyness and Emma K. Lyness. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eastridge Presbyterian Church (1135 Eastridge Dr, Lincoln, NE 68510).
