She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Kruse and Malinda Kruse (Pfingsten); her husband Dwight LaDean Kapke (Ruth); and her siblings, DeLoris Onnen (Gerhard) and Donovan Kruse (Donna).
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Kapke (Kathleen), Linda Young and Laura Rettig (Brian); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Knorr (Derek), Bradley Rettig (Jessica), Sarah Wilson (Jeremy), Adam Rettig (Mandy) and Andrew Young (Nichole). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Lincoln Church (4325 Sumner St, Lincoln, NE 68506).
