He is survived by: his wife Kaitlin Callahan; his pets, Clara and Bette; his parents, Dennis Connolly and Sue Connolly; his siblings, Mike Connolly (Jamie) and Susie Truog (Kent); and his siblings' children, Lillian and Kent.
A rosary was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ (3500 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68506). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center for People, Nebraska Children's Home or Capital Humane Society.
